Two Major International Corporations Expanding Operations in Mexicali

Valutech, a leading provider of reverse logistics solutions to information technology, consumer electronics, and telecommunication industries in the United States and internationally, is in the process of expanding their facilities in Mexicali, Mexico. Currently the largest foreign employer in the state of Baja California, Valutech will be hiring an additional 8,000 workers for a total 18,000 employees in the area by the end of the year.

 

Valutech’s clients are all well-known corporations including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. They specialize in reverse logistics and management of the returns process, including testing, cosmetic recovery & painting, serialized tracking and reporting, warranty entitlement, IW/OOW repair, kitting and fulfillment.

 

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) has selected the Mexicali Industrial Park IV, owned and operated by PIMSA, as the site of its new 347,600 sq. ft. facility to manufacturer oil drilling towers. NOV, a world leader in the design, manufacture and sale of equipment and components used in oil and gas drilling and production, will be joining one of their divisions, Expopartes S.A. de C.V. which has been established in Park IV since 1984.
